Background
I’ve always been fascinated by the potential for human connection through storytelling, which no doubt inspired my training as a documentary photographer (BA, 2005).  Starting out as a visual artist on long-term photo stories, I became interested to learn how visual storytelling could be applied in a commercial context. In 2009 I joined a leading consumer brand and research agency in a creative production role, working predominantly for FMCG brands. This gave me a real insight into the needs of both brands and audiences.

Human-centred stories
In 2012 I launched my studio, specialising in human-centred stories. In other words, commercial (and social) projects and brand campaigns with a desire to make meaningful connections. Authentic storytelling requires trust and fluidity, and by making time to understand the brief and the backstories of our talent/profiles, I’m able to approach each project with a considered balance of professionalism, empathy, and intuition.

In partnership
Motivated and energetic on every project, my process balances collaboration with creative flow. I’m comfortable working independently, curating small teams, or directing and producing larger production efforts. I partner with brands, agencies, and organisations in the development and creative production of engaging and relevant visual conversations.
