A College for Girls

To recognise the historical contribution of an abandoned 19th Century girls’ school, the Jersey Development Company commissioned documentary photography of the building and its spaces ahead of demolition. Entitled Absent Presence, the project culminated in the production of a public exhibition and coffee table book, celebrating the new culture of strong, confident women the school championed at a time of immeasurable gender inequality.
