In 2004 my parents bought a farmhouse in North West France.
They converted it into a family home.
These photographs address my family returning to home in a setting where home has never felt so unfamiliar.

Experiencing the sanctuary and familiarity of home juxtaposed by culturally foreign space has proved to be a new and telling experience for us all.
It has forced our family to appreciate and spend unusual amounts of quiet time together out of the context of our everyday lives;
